#18 It's Easy To Check If The Outfit You Want Is Available In Your Size
1. Just visit our website: www.afrochiconline.com
2. Determine your AfroChic size by comparing your body measurements against the bust, waist and hip measurements displayed on our website.
3. Shop by SIZE, and select your size. This shows you all the items in the store that are available in your size.
If you see the item you want in the displayed listings, you can go ahead to order it by following these steps
If you don't see the item you want in the displayed listings, it means we currently do not have that product in your size. You can check back in a few days to see if that item has been restocked in your size or if we might have something similar that you want.

#17 Canceling Your Order Is Super Easy
1. Visit our website: www.afrochiconline.com. Scroll all the way to the very bottom of the main page where you will see links for About Us, Returns & Refunds etc. Look out for the fourth link: Order History.
2. Click on this link. This leads you to our Account login page. Enter your email and password and click on the "login" button.
3. You should now be on the order history page where you can view your current as well as your past orders. Now here's the catch. You can only cancel your order if its status is set to processing.
4. Click the "view" button on the right to view the order you wish to cancel. At the bottom left of the order details you will find the "cancel order" button. Click this button.
5. You will now be redirected to your order history page where you'll now notice that the status of your order has now changed from processing to cancelled.
And you're done! Your order has been successfully cancelled.
See? That was easy. So easy in fact that you're probably thinking there's got to be a catch. And you're right.
Here's the catch. Your cancellation must be done at least 24 hours before the delivery date.
Why?
Well, as you know, AfroChic delivers your order in 2 days unless you changed the delivery date at the time of ordering. In order to meet this 2 day commitment, all orders enter our dispatch process 24 hours before the delivery date. Once an order has entered the dispatch process, you cannot cancel it. Which is why if you wish to cancel, you'll have to do it at least 24 hours before the delivery date.
Cool, eh?

#15 You Can Influence AfroChic
If you have an opinion about AfroChic products. Anything you want to express about our clothes. Design. Fabric. Packaging. Price. As long as it has something to do with our products, we're giving you the chance to tell us.
Yep.
AfroChic is conducting a survey to hear your comments about our products. Your responses will directly influence subsequent AfroChic collections and will guide the product development team to make stuff you actually want and love.
The survey is divided into 6 parts, A-F that focus on design, choice of materials, usage, fit, packaging and price. And is designed to take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
So, if you love AfroChic and want to tell us, this is your chance. Also if you have complaints or suggestions on how to better meet your needs, this is the best place to voice them. To participate in this survey, just click on the link below:

#14 Four Fresh Collections Every Year!
I'm obsessed with AfroChic. Here's why.
Every 3 months, there is a whole new selection of compliment-getters to love and choose from!
See, AfroChic has 4 collections in a year.
The first is The Heritage Collection which comes out in March, and is inspired by Ghanaian culture, and heritage.
This is followed by the International Collection in June which is inspired by a different country. For example, the International 2011 Collection which just came out is inspired by New York City. Next year, we travel somewhere else.
Then in August, we have the Harmattan Collection. Which takes inspiration from the colors of harmattan and the Harmattan season.
Finally in December, we end the year with a banging Festive Collection, which features colorful party outfits appropriate for festivities, parties, and weddings.
All these collections are designed to get compliments. Cool eh?
We usually launch them with a special shop and mingle event. Click here to read Obii's account of our last shop and mingle event here.
I loooooove AfroChic!

#13 Eight ways to connect with AfroChic
1. Call us
We're open between 10 am and 8 pm Monday - Saturdays but not on public holidays. If you call us between these hours, there will be a friendly voice at the other end of the line to speak to you. For general inquiries, call (030) 296 0205. For inquiries about a specific order, call 020 - 015-8696. Does that mean we'll be rude if you call at 8 am? hehe. Of course not! It just means there will be no one available to answer your call as our offices are not open before that time.
2. Email us
There are 2 ways to email us. You can either send an email to admin@afrochiconline.com or you can use this contact sheet on our website. If you have design ideas, you can actually submit them to us using this contact sheet. This is also the best place to send complaints, comments, love mail, fan mail etc.
3. Visit our stores
You can visit our online store or our physical store. See here for directions and a map.
4. Send us snail mail
In this day of email, we don't get much snail mail so we'll be excited to get one from you. Our mailing address is AfroChic Limited, P.O. Box LG 854, Legon
5.Follow us on Twitter
Our twitter handle is GetCompliments. You can follow us by clicking here
6. Be a fan on facebook
If you're our facebook fan, you can post questions on our wall. We go to impossible lengths to answer all your questions and promptly too. You can browse through our photos and comment on the clothes, offer suggestions, have a conversation with another fan etc.
7. Follow I love AfroChic
I love AfroChic is the official AfroChic blog. We created this blog specifically for AfroChic fans. We want to be the coolest brand in the world. Part of that is going out of our way to do things our customers love. And then to make a lot of noise about it. haha! This blog is meant to tell you more about the awesomeness that is AfroChic, to answer your questions before you ask them, to share insider stories, to chat, to laugh, and importantly, to listen to you.
8. Subscribe to Our Newsletter
If you want to stay on top of what's new in AfroChic, you can subscribe to our newsletter. We're still looking for a cool name for it. But for now, we'll just call it the newsletter. The newsletter is a new communication which we'll be sending to our customers on a regular basis which will include insider info on what's now and what's next in fashion, style and AfroChic. We'll be bringing you more information on our upcoming newsletter soon!
Did we say 8? Well here's a bonus
9. Attend Our Quarterly Events
Every 3 months, AfroChic comes out with a new collection. And we set aside 1 day, usually a Saturday where we invite everyone who loves AfroChic to come and be the first to shop the new collection. In less than 3 weeks, on 11th June, we're releasing our newest freshest collection...the international collection and you're invited to attend. Click here to learn more on facebook and to rsvp.

#12 AfroChic Answers Your Questions
AfroChic is super responsive to you. We respond to your questions quickly and as completely as we can. Here are answers to the questions our customers ask most often.
Where is the AfroChic shop located?
Our shop is very easy to find. Check here for a map and directions or order from our online shop
If I bring my own fabric, will you sew for me?
AfroChic does not do bespoke or custom clothing. We operate strictly as a shop, selling ready made, off the rack, ready to wear items. You can only buy what is available in the shop. We do not currently take pre-orders.
Are AfroChic sizes UK or US?
Neither. Our sizes were specially developed using real measurements/data of Ghanaian men and women. Cool huh? Anyway if you want to know how AC sizes compare with sizes from elsewhere, note that our sizes are very close to US measurements, but not equivalent.
If you're a UK size 10, you will wear AC size 6.
If you're a US size 10, you will wear AC size 10.
I saw a dress on The AfroChic facebook page but I can't find it on the website. Will I get it if I come to your shop in legon?
Everything we have in stock is available for purchase on our online shop. So our online shop is the best place to check for what is available.
The photos you see on our facebook page include both current stock and past designs. Our stock changes quickly. Every week, there are new items in the store, and some of the older designs sell out. The most popular designs are sometimes restocked in different colors and fabrics. So if you saw an outfit on facebook but can't find it on the website, it generally means that the item is not currently available for purchase.
I've checked the website but the outfit I want is not available in my size. Can I request for one to be made for me?
We usually stock all sizes of every new design. So if you can't find your favorite design in your size, it means it is sold out in your size. We do not currently take pre-orders or do bespoke or custom clothing.
We would advise that you keep checking the website on Fridays to see if that item may be restocked in a different color or fabric. We know that it is disappointing when your favorite outfit is sold out and is not restocked. So we try to restock your favorite designs in different colors and fabrics. We also release new and fabulous items every week. So even if you missed out on this week's hottest design, you can get a different one next week.
What if I order online and it doesn't fit?
To minimize the risk of buying an outfit in the wrong size, we advise that you check our size chart before you order if you know your body measurements. The size chart can be found on the top right corner of our website, on the black menu bar.
If you do not know your body measurements, you can estimate your AfroChic size from your UK or US size. Our sizes are very close to US measurements, but not equivalent.
If you're a UK size 10, you will wear AC size 6.
If you're a US size 10, you will wear AC size 10.
Can I order from AfroChic if I am not in Accra?
The answer is yes, you can order from our online shop even if you're not in Accra. However AfroChic does not yet do deliveries outside Accra so if you wish to buy from us, you will have to get friends or family to pick up your order from our shop in legon, pay for it, and arrange for it to be sent to you.
Should you decide to take this option, please note that our return policy allows returns up to 10 days after the delivery date. For those outside Ghana, this may be particularly difficult to do. However if you can do so, we will be happy to give you store credit, as indicated in our return policy.
If you have more questions, or suggestions, just send us an email: admin@afrochiconline.com.
We look forward to hearing from you.

#9 Even when we're closed, we're open.
AfroChic's shop in Legon opens 6 days a week.
Monday to Saturday. Except on public holidays.
We open at 10 am and stay open till 8 pm.
That's as late as the Accra mall.
That also means that you could close work at 5 pm, stay in crazy Accra traffic for 2 hours and still make it in time to shop before the shop closes.
It's 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
It means that even when we're closed, we're open.
I love AfroChic!

#8 I can buy it in many colors!
I love this outfit. Does it come in other colors?Well, the answer is...Absolutely!
AfroChic's most compliment-getting clothes now come available in 2, sometimes 3 colors and you even get a choice of fabrics!
For example, the "Love me or lose me" dress pictured here comes not only in the combination of blue lace and print. Now, you can also get it in gorgeous gold!
In case you haven't noticed, the just released "Frill Seeker" also comes not just in the green bubbles print but also in this lime-green puzzles print pictured here.

#7 Ridiculously low delivery charge
In a country where prices of everything from boutique-bought shoes to restaurant food tend to be ridiculously high, one shop is different.
AfroChic.
Whether you live in Tema or Tantra-Hill, North Legon or Nima...the delivery charge is the same - 2 cedis.
It's truly refreshing to see a lower delivery charge than one would expect for delivery to your doorstep.
That's why I love AfroChic!

#6 Awesome Return Policy
10 days may not seem like much, if you're comparing with Zappos' 365-day return policy.
But if you consider that we're in Ghana,
And you consider again that most shops have a strict, uncompromising - "goods sold out are not returnable" sign right next to the cash register.
And that AfroChic could have done just the same.
That they have a 10-day return policy at such an early stage of the business is pretty freaking awesome and can only be a sign of greater things to come.
love it.
The return policy, AfroChic etc.

#5 The fine machine!
I love AfroChic because of their movable, collapsible, colorful patchwork changing room !
THE FINE MACHINE
Whenever I step into it.
I'm transformed from drab to fab.
It's the first in the world.

#4 Super friendly price tags
I love AfroChic because they make voguish style available to everyone with fashion sense.
With such low prices for such cute clothes,
I can look super-fly without being rich.

#3 AfroChic gives headaches.
This post is about why Naa Amerley and Sardia love AfroChic.
These chicks say they have trouble choosing what to buy 'cos well, they want everything.
Amerley describes it this way :
omg! when it comes to afrochic, am like a kid in a candy store , i want everything!!!!
With 500+ clothes that you actually want, all made with African prints, and fresh stuff being added every week, we totally feel your pain.
Your days of going to shops only to look and look and look before you find that one thing hiding under a pile that you actually want are over.
Yep.
Enjoy this era of big fat headaches!
#2 Shop Online In Cedis
Do you know anyone in Ghana who has actually bought anything made in Ghana online, paid in cedis, and had it delivered to their doorstep in just 2 days?
Of course you don't.
Well, unless s/he shops at AfroChic.
Now for those of you who don't live in Ghana, you won't understand. But for those of us in Ghana, this is really really awesome. Our days of feeling like second class citizens being blocked from viewing sites like forever21.com are over! Now we too can buy awesome clothes, pay in our own currency, and have it delivered within 2 days whether we're at Lashibi or Ofankor. How so convenient! Makes me want to do a silly dance:)
I love AfroChic for making it happen.
It's the only one in the world.

#1 They Make Compliments
Don't you feel special when you get compliments?
Compliments are awesome. They make us happy. They bring a little sunshine into our dreary days. Compliments are like spoken hugs. It is medicine and magic for the soul.
That's why I love AfroChic. It's not about style or fashion, or even trends. Just compliments.
It's like making happiness.
It's really quite special.
It's the only one in the world.
